Bleaching

Bleaching hair is a chemical process that lightens the natural pigment of the hair’s fibre, melanin. The true hair colour and its intensity are determined by the eumelanin and pheomelanin, by its quantity and by how it’s distributed in the cortex. The lightening process bleaches the natural melanin in the hair fibre to the tone you wish to reach.
